Why Book a Newborn Photo Shoot?

Newborn photography is a wonderful way to preserve those early memories that pass by all too quickly. Within just a few weeks, your baby will change and grow, making these sessions truly one-of-a-kind. I aim to capture the pure, natural essence of your baby in a peaceful, relaxed environment, allowing their personality and unique details to shine through.

When to Schedule

The ideal time for a newborn photo shoot is within the first two weeks of life when babies are still very sleepy and easy to pose. However, I understand life with a new baby can be unpredictable, so I’m happy to work with you to find a time that suits you and your little one.

What to Expect

My style is light, natural, and pure. I’ll work with you to create a comfortable setting, whether in the studio or the comfort of your own home. Sessions are relaxed, and I allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks as needed. My priority is to ensure both you and your baby feel comfortable and at ease.

Each session includes a variety of poses, including:

  • Classic Newborn Portraits: Close-ups of those tiny hands, feet, and facial expressions

  • Parent and Baby: Capturing those first bonds and tender moments

  • Siblings and Family: Including big brothers or sisters and the whole family for beautiful keepsake memories

After the session, I’ll carefully edit the images to highlight the beauty and innocence of these early days. This process typically takes about 2-3 weeks. Once completed, your photos will be uploaded to a private online gallery for you to view and select your favourites.

Preparing for Your Session

To make the most of your newborn photo shoot, I’ll provide you with tips on how to prepare. I’ll guide you through what to wear, how to ensure your baby is comfortable, and what to expect on the day. Feel free to bring along any special items you’d like to include, such as heirlooms, blankets, or toys.
