When to Schedule
The Sitter/Smiler Milestone Session is perfect for babies around 6-9 months old—typically when they can sit up independently but aren’t yet walking. This timing allows for capturing a variety of adorable expressions and poses while they’re still easily engaged and curious.
What to Expect
My style is light, pure, and natural, focusing on capturing the genuine moments of your baby’s discovery and happiness. I’ll work with you to create a comfortable, baby-friendly environment, whether it’s in my studio or your home. The session is relaxed and playful, allowing your baby’s unique personality to come through.
During the session, we’ll capture a mix of:
Sitting Portraits: Celebrating their new skill of sitting up, with props and cozy blankets for support if needed
Expressions and Smiles: Close-up shots of those sweet smiles, giggles, and curious expressions
Playful Moments: Interactive shots with toys, family heirlooms, or personal items that capture your baby’s interests at this stage
After the session, I’ll carefully edit the images, a process that takes about 2-3 weeks. Once completed, your photos will be uploaded to a private online gallery, where you can view and select your favourites.
Preparing for Your Session
I’ll provide you with some tips to help prepare for the session, including outfit suggestions and any items you may want to bring along. Favourite toys, family heirlooms, or special blankets can add a personal touch. The session is all about capturing your baby’s happiness, so don’t worry about having everything perfect—just enjoy the moment!
